OSBF Finance

The Open Source Business Foundation (www.osbf.de), the Europe wide open source industry network headquartered in Nuremberg offers young commercial open source companies support in their search of growth capital.

Companies are offered the opportunity to present their business plans to be assessed by experts, seek specialist advice and get in contact with venture capitalists. The Finance Forum is supported by OSBF’s experienced Business Coaches and OSBF member, Corporate Finance Partners (CFP) a consultancy for mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital placement. CFP is an independent consulting firm specializing in technology, IT, software and telecommunications. Drawing from its global network of high caliber financiers, CFP offers OSBF member companies their expertise in corporate financing through web workshops. CFP investment specialists will support OSBF members in their search for growth and venture capitalists, and advise them on planned company sales and purchases.

Finance Forum Objective: To connect companies seeking growth capital with companies or people who provide capital. Companies will be supported to select suitable business plan competitions and meet the required conditions of participation. This includes assistance with business plan development and presentation, as well as the recruitment of management team members.

This OSBF project is open exclusively to OSBF member companies. Interested participants outside of the OSBF network may participate upon receipt of an application for OSBF Corporate Membership at the OSBF office.
